You have done wonderfully by getting Taycie the real help she needed when she needed it, even bypassing a vet you weren't pleased with in your "gut" and getting her better care ASAP. Without you, who knows what could have happened to her. I'm very glad to hear that she is coming alone and not regressing. That alone is progress to me. Bringing her along carefully with her diet change sounds smart. It's just a God's blessing Taycie picked you to be her mommy! Props to one good and faithful Yorkie mom!
