Probably a taser manufacturer could answer that question either on the FAQS page about human contact during tasing or through an email to them. I don't know. The thing is with a taser, according to my son and those who work with dangerous level 10 dogs, you only have to activate it usually and the immense energy in the air and the sound it makes acts on the dog as if it had been touched with the device and they withdraw from the area of it. I don't think Danny has ever used his on actual dog flesh but he has activated it in the air to back an attacking pitbull off or break up a fight, etc.
