For where you live, that's about right. It costs us a lot too where we live. I take the approach though, that if a tooth is questionable, I'd rather it be taken out to help the rest of our dog's mouth than keep it in. They don't seem to miss their teeth - I have 2 dogs that had several teeth pulled but you wouldn't know it by the way they eat. With each extraction, the cost will go up. For us, October is the dental month and we can get 10% off which helps, but you're still looking at a good bit over $1,000. Good luck.
