The breed isn't the problem. It's the people who do things to dogs to alter their temperament who are the problem.
All breeds attack; attacks happen every single day with multiple breeds. In fact, pit bulls attack/bite less than many other breeds, however,
THEY are the ones in the media - that's why people rally behind the pit bull hate. If all the German Shepard and Lab bites were in the media, it'd be the same story - with different players.
Again, breeds aren't the problem. People are the problem. You outlaw one breed, and those 'people' will just move on to another breed.
