Thank you ladies for all your help. The blue buffalo low cal is 412 cal. a cup.I have been feeding twice a day 1/4 cup each, some nights he gets some sweet potato & less dog food(he loves Sweet potatoes) I have been trying to walk him 1/2 hr. plus up & down the block every time he goes out to potty. I'll just check his weight once a week & see how he does.If needed I can walk him more. The only problem with that is ,if he doesn't want to walk he just won't. I'm lucky,to have an indoor place to walk him,sense it's gotten so cold here. I walk down about 5 blocks then there a long walkway across the street that's about 2 blocks long it's heated & not busy this time a year. It has had problems with ear infections so he wear a hat & coat until we get there. I'm glad to have this forum.It shows me I'm not the only one that loves there dog like a childLOL!!!!
