A small dog suffers more from eating people food than a larger dog does. Eating table food can cause pancreatitis in dogs. The yellow bile she threw up is caused by a stomach upset. The liver starts to secrete more bile when there is a digestive problem.

Vets say they have the most sick dogs around this time of year because people give the dogs more food from the table and other treats that are not healthy.

It could be the other dogs were better able to tolerate the food than your dog was. You should limit her treats to only once in a while and make sure they are healthy treats. Most of what you buy in the grocery store and the department and pet stores are not healthy and can cause some serious problems in the pet over time. Read the ingredient list. If there is stuff on there that you cannot say or identify then don't feed it to your dog.
