We have friends that had a 8 year old family pet. The dog was loved by everyone. Then one day as their daughter was about to leave she bent down to kiss the dog good bye and the dog bit her! It was a shocker. A week later the dog growled and tried to bite someone else. Long story short, the dog had a bad ear infection, although it showed no signs of it, the poor thing was in terrible pain and afraid of people touching it's head.

Your dog is going blind and is going through some frightening changes. She can't see properly and is afraid of what is happening to her. You may not realize that there may be other things that are gong on with her body as well. Please approach her carefully and keep others away from her. This is a very difficult time of stress and fear for a dog. She needs to make a careful transition to a new way of life for her.
