Mixed feelings - happy that Chase caught it, kind of bemused because Chase constantly refuses legit transactions I try, and it's embarrassing when they are in person, and worried about how these guys got my CC number. The card has been canceled and I won't get a new one until Monday at the earliest -- good thing I recently got cash! |
That is so annoying!
I received a call tonight from the Wells Fargo fraud department and I thought it was bogus at first, so I called the main line listed on my card. They asked me to confirm that a couple of small purchases (grocery store and USPS!) were legitimate. Everyone must be paranoid right now.
