I would go with your gut and get your questions answered.
I know nothing about Canine Caviar's QC. I did just search for information about the company and their foods. several things concern me and they would have a lot of question answering to do. There is no safest food. However, there are procedures that can greatly reduce risk. There are also some ways to develop foods that are better than others.
