Did you get your call?
I got laid off Oct 4. I went immediately to a recruiter and by Oct 9, they had me an interview. I met with the woman who said she will make a decision that day and I would know by noon (its a contract job). Well noon came & went, 2, 3, 4... finally at like 430, I get a call from the contract agency that the woman had an emergency and left abruptly that day so we would have to wait until Monday.
things happen.
I know it's frustrating waiting though. Up here in New England, Ive waited 2+ months after an interview before getting an offer letter! My last job (that I loved) I interviewed in April and didn't get the offer letter until end of May, after a 2 week notice I didnt start until mid-June! Crazy huh?
Best of luck to you, I really hope you get the job.... enjoy your holiday though, it may be the last one for awhile that you get to have your days & nights to cherish with family and friends!
