I used to think that, then when I moved house and had to haul all that christmas stuff up out of the basement and move it and find a place in my new house (that is REALLY small and space is valuable), and I thought how rediculous is this that we store all this stuff for almost all of the year, to then just display it for a few weeks.
That's when I decided if it's going to take up valuable storage space, I need to make it worth more, so I want a WHOLE month of Christmas decorating out of my trouble. So I don't mind the seasonal stuff being in the stores well ahead of time, so I can find things I want, and get it all up and decorated and still get a whole month of display time out of it.
