We handle puppies right from the start, sometimes Ive questioned if we handle them to much in the early stage!
But I beleive touching and interaction is so powerful and positive. I do beleive early interaction makes a big difference. I really think it helps a puppy be people lovers, because they have had gentle touching and been talked too and they know nothing but good things from the experience from humans. |
The loving interaction is important, but the point of ENS is to basically subject pups to mild discomfort/stress to stimulate hormonal, adrenal and pituitary systems so they are better able to withstand stress as adults.
