My husband has always been a "big dog" guy... and I had always wanted a yorkie. Eventually, he gave in and we got our first yorkie. Now she is as much his baby as she is mine! He talks to her like she were a small child. When it comes to dressing her up, he doesn't do that- he leaves that to my daughter and myself!
But he will "remind" me when she needs her hair and topknot redone. He says he doesn't know how to fix her hair- I think he just likes to see her with bows looking pretty.
He knows it's just a given that when we go to the store, I am probably going to buy something for my pups. I guess I am lucky he is so understanding.
