One of my babies was just diagnosed with LPD. She goes in Monday for surgery. I feel so bad as she just had surgery in early August due to falling off my lap and breaking her radius/ulna. We had the external fixator for that removed the beginning of September and here we are again. This will be her third surgery (spay included) and she is not even a year old yet...
I thank God that I have puppy insurance! If you haven't picked it up, you should as I am not sure what I would have done without it! With her leg in August, it was over $2,400 and I only paid about $400! With this surgery, it looks like I will be paying around $200.
We leave exactly 2 weeks after her surgery for a week in Disney and I have to board them. This makes me a little nervous, but I the vet said the boarder I am using actually does PT for them and the boarder was okay with having her so soon after surgery.
Please say a little prayer for Ms. Saydee that she feels better and that we do not have any more problems for a very long time...
