Emy is 7 1/2 months old, I had an appointment on the 5th of November with the vet for spaying, she started to lick and get swollen so I cancelled the appointment, sure enough by the 8th I saw blood, she is still in heat, it hasn't been too big a deal, she has been peeing on peepads in the house, I walk her around my driveway to poop, then take her inside immediately, she has been keeping herself really clean, if it wasn't for the swelling, I wouldn't even know she was in heat, we are in the 12th day now, she is stll swollen and licking but not as much now, I haven't seen any blood today at all. Have to wait 6 weeks after heat is over to get her spayed, she will be a year before I get her spayed now, growths plates will be closed from what I've read on here. She is 7 lbs though, so her size wasn't an issue. |
