I also saw someone suggesting iverhart which seems to be a generic for heartgard... I'm leaning towards heartgard since i don't want to give something that has both heartworm and flea/tick at the same time. I'm always paranoid about overdosing on meds. Any thoughts?? |
yes revolution is for heartworm , fleas and ticks.. I have used it for oscar before and he had no problem with it.
Now i am trying to back on the meds overload so i use k9 advantix as needed and switched to plain heartgard ( i dont think he needs to be treated for internal parasites every month). I give him the whole treat though. ( i think you are supposed to , ask your vet about it ).
Iverhart is cheaper but i dont like it , it gave my dogs diarheaa. The heartgard does not.....
