I also don't tie them because it's uncomfortable. I haven't really had a problem with them coming out but you could add some glue if you have a "digger".

Those last rugs that were linked are awesome!!!!! (LifeOnMaple ones) I'm gonna try making 1, maybe 2...or more! Cheap to make and exactly what I want!!!
