I guess I don't think about giving as something that is not just a natural part of life. When one has a home and enough to buy food and pay the bills, gratitude for such abundance should be shown by helping others that may not be in such a blessed position.
There are many reputable charitable organizations to give to especially at this time of year. There are a multitude of real shelters for people and animals plus rescue organizations that a person can give a helping hand to. The types like the one this thread was started about should not even be considered a charity. With so many good people that reach out to help others through out the year it should not be hard to find a way to help others that really need it. |
