If there was any other way of getting her back to the UK, then we would use it. I would love for her to be with us on the plane, however airlines have rules and they won't bend at all.
She was fine on the way out as the BA staff were first rate. I was a nervous wreck, but the stewards on the plane checked with the pilot that the hold was heated and that she was happy on loading and they were superb on landing. She suffered no ill effects at all. PBS who did all the arrangements were also superb, but returning from America we have to use United Airlines and therefore an indirect flight using PBS on entry. If only the UK authorities would let animals through the passenger entry then there would not be a problem. My husband's job forces the relocation and I will not return without Cukii; she is part of our family. We just have to abide by the regulations. |
