I know the person said they would call by the weekend, but maybe something happened. Maybe someone who needs to sign off on your paperwork took an early vacation or has not yet responded.
You did all you were expected to do. So, the only thing left is to exercise patience. You may get that call between today and right before Thanksgiving.
