Ok, I went to the vets today hen I went to puck my daughter up from my moms ( love my vet that's open 7 days a week!) they weighed him in the same room and he is 4.2 on their scale, vet wasn't concerned , he looks healthy and you can't feel his ribs with out pushing in a little, so they aren't protruding out, he said he is probably more active since I'm a stay at home mo and he has play,ayes here, and his previous owner had him kennel end 8-10 hours a day so he is just burning more calories the before. The vet said not to change his food and just keep feeding twice a day with snacks and recheck weight in 2 weeks to see if he is staying the same weight
