Wow an inch? Yeah I'd take him in tomorrow too. When was the last time you petted him there and it wasn't there?

I found a limp on top of Uni's foot a few weeks ago. I took her in and they did a fine needle aspiration(?) and basically took out some cells and sent it in to a lab to see if they are cancerous or not. Thank goodness they came ack negative, but since its on a weird spot with not much skin the vet isn't going to take it off and we've gotta learn to live with it.

But good for you for noticing and taking him in right away. Better safe than sorry. It cost about $160 for me to find out nothing was wrong. =\

ETA I was gonna say if he got vax recently they usually make a large hard lump, but vax are usually given on the shoulder or side, not under the neck, so yeah I'd be concerned also. Hope it's nothing tho. Keep us posted.
