My understanding is that the best time to neuter is at least 8 months. Puppies need the hormones produced by the testicles for proper physical development. Secondarily, many here advocate doing it at the same time as remaining baby teeth extraction which many yorkies appear to require anyway. This cuts down in the number of times they are exposed to anesthesia. My baby, Baci, was neutered at 9 months. Good luck in your desion. I adore my little sweetie.
