Sally, it was a bribe! They had a fairly loud about 2-hour party with a live musical group in their backyard starting not 45 mins. later!!!! LOL. They have this party about once, twice a year - otherwise, you never hear noise from them next door. And I'm sitting right by a huge den window at the time that is still letting some of the muffled sound in though it's doubled-paned, energy efficient, etc. I put on my White Noise Ocean between my head and the window, slid down on the couch with Tibbe and watched TV, went to sleep so I guess the BBQ had a drug in it or something! LOL. I slept for 2 hours and when I woke up, all was quiet though all the cars were still out front. I guess it got cool enough they took it inside. Never heard another peep from them so I don't know when they all went home. But I would say overall - that wonderful pork was worth it!
