Yeah, it doesn't really help since I don't even completely remember the rule! This was when I lived in NY, and if you don't tip absolutely everyone you come into contact with, you basically guarantee yourself horrible service for the rest of the year. Cash was king there.

I try not to give sweets for the holidays, because everyone is trying to watch their weight these days, and there's already so much sugar around. That's just me, though.
