Vets say that Thanksgiving is one of their busiest times of the year because of so many dogs getting sick from eating stuff they shouldn't have. Some of these poor dogs don't make it.

Make sure your pet gets nothing that has fat. No pie, no turkey fat or skin, no gravy, no dessert period. A few small bites of turkey might be alright or better yet just take along some healthy doggie treats. I always buy dehydrated meats for Gracie. She loves them. They are one ingredient and I know the source so she stays healthy and we are both happy.
