I was advised but some knowledgeable people here to wait until their growth plates had closed up. I did this with Kyra and she is scheduled for a week from Monday. She went through her first heat at 6 months which was a shock for me but she did fine. My vet likes to wait till they are 3lbs but Kyra we don't think will ever be so they ran her tests and said they believe she is healthy enough. |
