While I am sure some might not have good intentions, some probably are not doing this in a nasty way. The only reason I say this is because when I got my little girl at 12 weeks, I immediately started taking a million pictures (literally......well, almost

) and quickly realized that you couldn't tell just how small she was. So, one time when she was laying on the couch, I laid a dollar bill next to her to take a picture real quick just so that I would be able to see how small she was one day when flipping back through my scrapbook. I never even thought about the fact that the bills are filthy, but it's not like I let her sniff or lick it either. I mean, you don't wash your hands before you pet your baby each time, right? Besides, look at all of the stuff these little guys eat off of the ground! I was just telling my two last night that I have done so much research and spent quite a bit of money to try to make sure that they are on the best food possible and then they go around and eat everything they find on the ground!
Anyways, I know that this is different than putting a puppy who is only a few days old next to a dollar bill, but I bet most of them haven't thought about it in the way that you have........they are just trying to use something that most people can relate to size wise.
