Wow really? What was the reason for that?

I usually say about 8 months, only bc they have some more time to fill out, and if any baby teeth haven't come out, you will know by 8 months approx that if they're still there, they aren't gonna come out on their own. Some vets like to do it at 4 months. I had a foster who had it done at 4 months. At one year when I started fostering him, he had almost a complete double set of teeth. If the vet had waited to see what teeth would have fallen out, that could have been avoided.
