 problems feeding
Hi there, and congratulations on your new babies!
I've had my little Kiwi for about a week now and at first I was having quite a bit of trouble feeding her. It turned out that she was ill with Cocsidia and as a result had no appetite. The solution to this was initially a dab of honey on my finger, this would get her appetite going and then she would be willing to eat her dry kibble.
She is almost finished her round of antibiaotics and her willingness to eat is increasing. Another thing i found helpful is apple. If you remove the skin and give her tiny pieces, she may be willing to start eating and perhaps even eat her dog food.
Either way, I hope both Haley and Ethan will be doing better soon. |
