I think if the family won't listen about not giving Honey food, perhaps make a little plate of food just for Honey and leave it on the table. If someone really wants to give her some food, give it from the plate that's hers.
Or I think your family should just respect what you ask them to do, but we all know that's just too much to ask isn't it? LOL
