I am a little angry at the vet today though as he has a molar that also did not fall out. The vet who examined him said he would pull that one out as well as it was "hanging by a thread" and also had a lot of plaque. (his mouth is smelly from it). Well, seems that another vet did the surgery and didn't pull that tooth. My concern is that if this tooth doesn't fall out and it is already covered in plaque that it will spread to his permanent adult teeth.

Perhaps if it is "hanging by a thread", a good game of tug of war, or a good hard chew toy like a Bully Stick....something he can get on that loose tooth in the back of his mouth....will help it fall out....maybe you can get your fingers in there and work it loose?
