Today he is a little better. The vet did give me pain meds for him and I gave him them this moring as instructed. He actually slept through the night last night which was a blessing.
I am a little angry at the vet today though as he has a molar that also did not fall out. The vet who examined him said he would pull that one out as well as it was "hanging by a thread" and also had a lot of plaque. (his mouth is smelly from it). Well, seems that another vet did the surgery and didn't pull that tooth. My concern is that if this tooth doesn't fall out and it is already covered in plaque that it will spread to his permanent adult teeth.
