Sadly I know this area like the back of my hand so to give you an idea of his travel... The hotel they were at is almost a mile from Disney Main Gate now with that being said the Mouse Compound as it is called at my house
also known as Walt Disney World covers around 47 miles so without knowing what part he was found I can not say a true distance BUT just to the Main Gate from the hotel that mile is either a BUSY road or lake woods lake big shopping center woods another super busy shopping center with all restaurants and bars then a busy highway you could not pay me to walk across now after you enter the Main Gate you are thrown into nonstop traffic around another 8 or so hotels then Downtown Disney... Did I mention this is the busiest section for driving I think of the Disney area?? Oh and behind the hotels on his left side of his travels is I4
You can't find many areas to drink or even purchase adults drinks in the area unless you go to Downtown Disney OR across to that large shopping center with the restaurants and liquor store so just think of how busy that area is when Mommy and Daddy have spent a week in the heat with the kids and need to unwind lol
