They do make it out to pee/potty shakily, though sometimes the potty part is not until the 3rd day! They scare me silly during this time but the vet just smiles and says they are fine, fine, fine so I imagine it is just me thinking the worst.

Hope little Maxi does fine, fine, fine too!
Bailey is a big cry baby too.he was neutered yesterday and had 4 baby teeth pulled because the new ones were trying to push through...which is partly why i went ahead at barely 7 mths. He made little groaning noises and whimpering. He didnt drink or eat anything last nite and had loose bowels and just peed where he was standing. We had a restless nite and finally i fell asleep for a few hours...so I guess he did too. He did use a pad last nite.
This morning although he has gone outside in the yard, he didnt go potty. Finally about 10am I got him to eat some chicken and when i held the bowl of water up to him he drank a good amt. I am waiting about 1/2 hr to make sure he keeps down the food till I give him the metacam liquid they gave me for pain. I did not think it was used for pain, but i am following their instructions. The disturbing thing, is that he just stands there with head down..doesnt want to walk or lay down. Incision looks clean. Hope this helps someone as I have been searching for what to expect...yorkies are different than just dogs.
