From what I read last night, an officer can arrest you on the spot for some misdemeanors and infractions it seemed to me yesterday when I googled the "M" term. I saw more than one that said they were arrested for speeding through construction sites and the registration arrest off the street was usually tied to having a second felony, misdemeanor or infraction to go with no registration. So much for probable cause and all that if all those stories were right. But of course TB could have been arrested with a bench warrant and not in her car off the street. Shame they didn't keep her!
