Roxi's vet did mention the Lactulose, but because of Roxi's small size (3 lbs) we decided the Zentonil was better. The pill can easily be split...she take 1/2 pill daily. It says on the bottle that it's for cats and small dogs. It contains SAMe. I gave her her first pill today. I sure hope she tolerates it well and that 2 months from now we see some improvements in her numbers.
On a side note, I feel like such a bad mom
. TODAY IS HER BIRTHDAY!!! She is 2 yrs old today. I knew today was a special day, but I couldn't remember why. Then I open up my email and there is a birthday card for Roxi from her vet. I'll have to make it up to her tonight when I get off work
