Our baby, Sophie, is ready to turn 6 months old and all of a sudden we're seeing a big change in her. She has been so loving, but now all of sudden she is hiding under chairs, beds; panting a lot, wanting out all the time. She spent the day at the vet's today and they say she is fine. No fever, no pain, etc. What should we look for when she is ready to go into heat for the first time?
