I have actually been really surprised at the large number of yorkies, poodles, and other small hypo-allergenic types we get in at my shelter. Some are rescues from puppy mills but a few have just been owner surrenders. Just a couple have been "found" like Skully. It breaks my heart to think of him out on the street for who knows how long. Makes me wonder if he got out or if someone just 'set him free' because he is older. I'm sure I'm gonna cry when he gets adopted but hopefully the adopter will let me keep in touch, I've really grown attached to this little guy.
