Yes I was itchy all day thinking about it. I had completely forgotten that the people who puppy sat for us said their dogs had a flea problem this summer. Ugh. What were we thinking??
Well, I gave him Advantix and checked over him very carefully and didn't see any. I didn't see any of the black specks of flea dirt I've seen mentioned here either. So maybe it's not terrible yet or maybe it wasn't really a flea that I killed.
Either way, I washed all bedding in hot and vacuumed the heck out of everything.
How do you know if it is a huge problem? I mean where do you look? I remember reading something about brushing the dog on a white sheet to see if any jump off. I did that and nothing. Any other tips so that I can obsess about this?
I feel so bad but I don't even want him snuggling with me or the kids right now. Poor guy. |
