If he's reliably housebroken, should go okay. Block him off from your special rooms, living room, etc., and see how he does overnight. If you get up and don't smell or see urine anywhere, keep doing this for a couple weeks and then slowly open another door to another room and so on over the next few nights. If he's peeing somewhere overnight, you should be able to smell it that next morning.
