My Lola is 5 weeks old and only weights 18 oz. Is this an OK size for a 5 week old? I'll get her on 12/9 and we are excited but I'm hoping that she won't be that tiny. The breeder said that her mother is 5lbs silver color and her dad is 7lbs brown and black color and that they usually take after their dad so she should be brown and black and 5-7lbs.
Is this true? And at what age can you tell what color their going to be? I really do not care about the color I do prefer brown/black color but silver is cute. I guess that Im worried about her size, I hope she won't be too small
She was the smallest one of the litter but she was the only dog left when I went to put down a deposit. She has some gold/brown color coming out already on the top of her head that's why they think that she will be brown/black.
Also, I make hairbow for my daughter and would love to make some for my Lola but was wondering where to buy dog elastic from and which ones would work best. TIA!
