Potty pads teach dogs that it is okay to potty in the house. So eventually when I started switching around his potty to outside he got really confused.
The best choice for me was to start taking his potty pads outside and teach him to only potty outside. Eventually, he only started going outside.

Did you leave the pad outside or did you take it with you every time you took your pup out?
