I've had Bentley for 2 months now who came to me pad trained. He is almost 7 months old now and in the past two weeks, he has been pottying on my floors and carpet even though the pad is out and has been in the same spot it has always been. The accidents are few and far between, though. In the past 2 wks, he's done it about 5 times on my floors/carpets and if I see him in the act, I say NO, firmly and I take him immediately to the pad, but, then he doesn't do anything. I decided to have the vet check him out and no issues were found, so what could be happening?

My other dogs are trained for outside potty. I do let him go outside with them every now and then. Could this be confusing him? Should I just go strictly outside pottying now? I'm at a loss.

Thoughts?
