Oh, gosh, he sounds real sick! Have you tried chlor-trimeton 2 MGM 2 times a day and a cough prep to dry secretions. Using a humidifier can only help. I put mine in a sorta croup tent...turn the vapor toward the crate and cover the whole thing over with a sheet. Make sure the dog is WARM.. I have made that decision and I can tell you that it will be the hardest decision you will make in a dog's care. BUT, it is ithe kindest, most loving , most caring gift an owner can give a loyal loving companion.
