I don't know if this would even be part of your problem, but thought it might be worth mentioning. Betty Boop started having stinky breath although I brush her teeth almost everyday. She has no baby teeth as she is 3-1/2 years old. I took her to the vet to see if having her teeth cleaned would help with her stinky breath. He said allergies can cause drainage which can cause stinky breath. The pollen here has been very bad and has caused itching and dry skin, but is clearing up now. Her breath doesn't smell anymore, so I'm guessing he was right.
