Welcome to YT. I am so sorry this accident happened to your baby. If he is already putting weight on his leg, even if it's just a little for now, that is a very very good sign. My Mylee had FHO surgery due to hip displasia. It didn't heal right and she had to have her surgery redone. I won't get into the details, but she never put weight on her leg for the first 8 weeks after her first surgery which lead to the second. That was 2 years ago and unless you know she had the FHO surgery, you'd never know by watching her run and jump and play today. We're probably one of the very very few that ever even have any problems with that surgery as most small dogs do very well with it. YT was a great source of support for me too, so I'm glad you're here.
