I've had this dog bed for years. I throw the pillow in separately every once in awhile and wash it. As to the skirt, I wash it and put it back on without putting it in the dryer. The first time I washed it I put it in the dryer and had to have a big man help me put it back on. There was no way I could get it on myself. The next time I washed it and after removing it from the washer, put it on the wicker. It was still a struggle but one I won this time on my own.
