Oh, I understand you already work there from the original post but think that company recognizes(or should recognize) you shine and perforce choose you! After all, they know you, know your work & I think you should be a shoo-in! Besides, Guinness has extra needs that the added money could take good care of quite nicely. I truly hope that you stressed that your Yorkie has many needs when having the interview so they fully understand the necessity of choosing you. Those other applicants probably have birds or cats or mean dogs, not sweet, stylish little Yorkies with expensive very tastes.
All kidding aside, hope you hear good news soon and the job doesn't go to the company president's SIL or something!
