Please post your ideas that will save fellow Yorkie Talkers money as we all could use some extra. I'll start.

I used to spend $45 on dog grooming and $25 for my husband's haircuts every 8 weeks which worked out to almost $500 a year. My husband bought a Flowbee 6 months ago and now cuts his own hair along with our Yorkie Brandy, who has always had a puppy cut. For those of you who don't know what a Flowbee is, it is an attachment to a vacuum cleaner that sucks the hair out and cuts it. I do cut Brandy's face and ears with scissors, but other than that, it works great. She looks better than when she went to the groomers and she is a lot happier.
